I am SO excited to share this beautiful sunset VMFA maternity session with you. If you aren’t familiar with RVA (Richmond, Virginia), the VMFA is the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and is an absolutely stunning local treasure. I was overjoyed when Megan & Nicholas chose this location to capture this special season of their lives together.
Megan and I met through email and immediately clicked. After coordinating on locations and, of course, outfits, we finally met for their maternity session. The golden glow from the setting sun, a lovely light breeze — it was just the perfect Richmond day. As I spent the afternoon with them, it felt more like hanging out with friends. I got to know the couple a little more throughout the session, and we even realized we were from neighboring hometowns in Southwest Virginia. What a small world!
